Here are some pictures and descriptions of what ministry has looked like this past month:

cleaning and taking care of the Overflow Guesthouse pool!!

teaching the guesthouse staff English! Kirsten and I get to teach two women, Sopheat and Pech, who clean and cook at the guesthouse. These women are eager to learn, extremely huggable, and sassy as can be. They are not believers, but we have been using bible stories as tools to teach them English. Please pray for the salvation of these women (as well as their families) and opportunities for us to witness to them.

prayer walks around the temple. The past few mornings, some of my teammates and I have been walking and praying around a temple near our house. Our goal is to walk around it once everyday for six days, and then walk around seven times on the seventh day- just like the Israelites in the book of Joshua! Spiritual walls are coming down!!! and who knows? Maybe even physical walls!!

evangelism on Pub Street. Most afternoons/evenings my teammates and I will walk around Pub Street and evangelize to the people we meet. Evangelism is something that is very new to me (as well as a lot of my teammates). But the Lord has given us boldness, along with a the Holy Spirit to direct us in what to say.

quiet time/intimacy with The Lord. My devotional time is something I value more than anything. He has asked me to step into more of an artistic pathway (and I am NOT an artist or even enjoy drawing). But by painting/drawing/creating, I have been able to experience His presence in a new way that I never have before.

A few other things I have learned this past month are:

  • I have begun to walk in the freedom that Christ offers me.
  • I have been taught how to evangelize and now have a desire to live a life of ministry everywhere I go.
  • I have learned that love is an action and NOT a feeling, and I am learning how to love my teammates more everyday.

Please continue to pray for these ministry opportunities!!
